
You'll learn a bit more about webbing here-beat the goons to a pulp, then stand near their bodies and pull the web button to finish them off. Simply pull the web button and aim at the enemy to subdue him. More web-swinging! Follow the beacons until you enter another battle, this time with a pipsqueak named Herman. Follow the green light beacons until you reach a warehouse where you'll finally get your Spider-Man suit. Try to keep constantly airborne if you can-it's not necessary at this point, but it's good practice anyway.

After returning to home, Spider-Man will equip his web blasters and introduce you to the wonders of web-swinging.Īgain, follow the on-screen instructions to get a feel for web-swinging. Simply follow the green light beacons through the alleys and read the on-screen instructions to get you from one beacon to the next. If you dodge all of his offenses, you should be able to avoid getting grabbed again, but remember how to break free of his grasp just in case he gets you again.Īfter dealing with Venom, you'll appear on the city streets during the day. Shake free (alternate presses of the shoulder buttons) and then continue to pummel Venom with your attacks. You'll return to the city streets, stuck inside Venom's grasp. Run to the beam of light to skip to the next part of the fight. Run up to Venom and attack with punches and kicks until a green beam of light appears at the far end of the field.

When battling Venom, use the jump button to evade his attacks (watch for your spider-senses to appear around your head). This first part of the game serves as a brief introduction to the mechanics of Ultimate Spider-Man.
